About the Commander

The Squadron Commander, Capt William von Brandenburg, is a former airborne infantry soldier who served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division,and as a member of the OPFOR (Opposing Force), Joint Readiness Training Center. After military service, Capt von Brandenburg attended law school and is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. He currently is a GS-13 Coach in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. An avid world traveler, Capt Lt von Brandenburg has traveled to over 40 foreign countries and his interests include aviation, parachuting, camping, trekking, reading and all things related to the Civil Air Patrol.
