About the Commander
Former airborne infantry soldier with service including the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division,and as a member of the OPFOR (Opposing Force), Joint Readiness Training Center. 1st Lt von Brandenburg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Ethics from Eastern Kentucky University and a Juris Doctor Degree from the Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville. In addition to being licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, 1st Lt von Brandenburg is a Federal employee and rates disability claims for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. An avid world traveler, 1st Lt von Brandenburg has traveled to over 40 foreign countries and his interests include aviation, parachuting, camping, trekking, reading and all things related to the Civil Air Patrol.
